So....she LIVES!!!! Ugh. And the Author Goddess (as she likes to refer to herself) tries to say that *I* have drama in my life? Please. Maybe I should be taking notes? Wonder if it would make for some interesting blog entries...

Do you think she'd kill me for that?

*looking around* She wouldn't dare would she? I mean...would she? No! My friends would protect me!

Who am I joking. My friends would point and laugh and probably video it for YouTube.

That, dear readers is true friendship. When you trip and fall, you can always tell who your real friends are. How? Because after the single heartbeat it takes for them to realize you really will be okay and the only thing that's injured is your pride... Your real friends are the ones pointing and laughing.

At least...that's how my friends are. ;)

Don't blame me for the long silence. Blame the insane woman who is my author. I've been screaming at her to update, update, update. But would she listen? nooooooooo.

*clearing throat* Ok, so maybe life gets a little crazy. I guess of all people *I* should understand that.

*looking around* I do.... But don't tell the crazy lady that. Then she might expect for me to play nice all the time. And what fun would I have then?

Where has the time gone? I've been so busy, but what's life without a little drama?

Ok...let's make that what's *MY* life without a little drama?

Hmmmm...come to think of that, I think that'd be fun. A week with no drama....yup that would be quite the vacation. A week with no worries, no gripes, no stress...

Um, don't let the neurotic author who claims to write me know this, but that sounds pretty damn boring to me. Ok, so I've gotten used to all this drama. It keeps life exciting...keeps me on my toes...keeps me YOUNG. (And trust me, that lady has enough to deal with. She keeps walking around bitching about her birthday. Something to do with getting old.) Age is definitely a mind set. And I refuse to grow up. Or, at least past the age of 23. That was a good year for me....It would've been better if not for the Bastard - but I digress. What's the saying, "hindsight is always 20/20"?

Ok, I think I've rambled on enough for the moment. (Oh come on...admit it...you guys just love my pearls of wisdom - ROFLMAO). I know I probably should've given some idea about what happens in the latest installment in my story, but that is another blog...

If nothing else, maybe it'll encourage me to get on here again sooner than before. LOL.

LATERS!

So starting life over is definitely not easy. And really is it really acting like a drama queen when you make a complete  fool out of yourself? Come on, you guys know what I'm talking about!

But noooooooo. My friends just laugh and shake their heads. They've even coined the phrase "typical Leigh". I'm not sure yet if I should be honored or offended by that. What do you think? Should I be hurt, or happy that they just know me so well?

Of course them knowing me so well is a double edged sword. Cause that means they can really make me laugh...but it also knows they know my weaknesses too well.

Despite my petition, the Author has refused to reconsider calling me a drama queen. *rolling eyes* I mean, come on. Everyone is entitled to a bad day, right? So I get a little...worked up. I'm human! If you prick me, will I not bleed?

Well, at least I've been given permission to start talking about my books. Please just click on a link to the right (I must trust my captor--er, the lovely author-lady to maintain the links....). Hopefully something interesting will happen soon so I have more to blog about. But for now I think I've hit a wonderful lull...

Never fear... I shall continue to nag--er, petition to have the exaggerated "Drama Queen" title removed from my name!

Leigh
(the Demure)

Ok, so, imagine my surprise when I pop onto my special little corner of a website and see that logo! I  think Drama Queen in training is a bit over the top, Don't you?

Um, maybe I should start from the beginning.

Hi, I'm Leigh. I don't think I'm over-dramatic as some of my friends may claim. I think that I handle the situations that arise in the manner that best suits them...then I drown my sorrows in a bowl of ice cream. Or the hunky handy man... But really, just because a girl has one or two (dozen) bad days, is that really cause for labeling me a drama queen? Really?

Uh-oh... I think I've been spotted. Um, stay tuned here for more updates...When my captor (aka the evil author) turns her back and I can get my side of the story posted.

Leigh
(so *NOT* a drama queen)
